RICHARD GILL

GILL--Richard Albert. Richard (Rich) Albert Gill passed away surrounded by his family after a valiant battle with cancer on September 26, 2022. Born in the Bronx and a lifelong Yankees and Giants fan, Rich lived with his beloved wife, Davina and their five children, Alexa, Michael, Amanda, Jonah and Jeremiah in Manalapan, New Jersey. Rich was predeceased by his father, Richard. He is survived by his mother, Wendy. Rich was a music lover and talented drummer who brought energy and joy to every gathering of family and his many friends. He was also a fitness enthusiast who regularly challenged himself through multiple CrossFit and Tough Mudder events. Rich was a fighter, whose bravery in the face of a terrible disease was an inspiration to so many. As a senior executive for the Moody's Corporation, Rich held many roles with global responsibility over more than 30 years. He is remembered as a passionate and dedicated leader and role model revered for his innate ability to create a sense of purpose and belonging. Rich was a trusted and cherished mentor who inspired the absolute best amongst his colleagues. Above all, Rich will be remembered by those fortunate to know him for his generous spirit, his kind nature, a very proud dad and devoted family man, and his unfailing sense of humor. Even as he battled this vicious disease, Rich's concern was always for those around him, taking extra effort to make us smile and laugh. A celebration of Rich's life was held following his passing.
