RICHARD HARRIS Obituary

HARRIS--Richard Max

"Dick", 79, longtime resident of New York City, died on February 25, 2015 after a long illness and with his family by his side. Born March 13, 1935, in San Jose, Illinois, Dick was an accomplished athlete, scholar, pilot and business man. Dick leaves behind his devoted wife of 40 years, Susan (Varrassi) Harris, of New York City; his children Tracy Harris, Amy Harris and Max Harris, who all live in Vermont; six cherished grandchildren and two siblings. Services will be held at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home, 1076 Madison Avenue, New York City, on Thursday, March 5, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a contribution in the name of Richard M. Harris to the Central Park Conservancy by visiting: centralparknyc.org.
