Ricky ( and Kathy) were wonderful friends and neighbors. Our adventures in Europe were memorable , to say the least.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved friend Ricky, whose passing leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts and lives.
The bond between our families spans more than 75 years, beginning with the cherished friendship between Ricky's parents, Marcia and Jerry (later Pearl), and our own parents, Jesse, Phyllis, Caryl, and Ben. These extraordinary people forged a friendship that became the foundation for a multi-generational connection that has defined our lives.
Ricky was woven into the fabric of our family from our earliest memories. We shared countless moments-both profound and everyday-growing up together, our lives and families intertwined in the most meaningful ways. He was more than a friend; he was family in every sense that mattered.
To MJ and Kathy, and to Ricky's entire family: your father, brother, and grandfather was truly one of the great ones. His warmth, character, and generous spirit touched all who knew him. We were blessed to love him and to be loved by him in return.
His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
The Volk and Koven families,
Jeff, Peggy, Eve, and Brett along with Susan, Michael, and Leo .... as well as all of our children and grandchildren too numerous to list.
