I just learned today that Dr. Friedman had passed away over a year ago. He was a compassionate & gifted physician & cared greatly for his patients. As a patient, I was dismayed when he decided to reduce his practice years ago. He gave me the news by saying: "I have some good news & some bad news. The bad news: I am only retaining patients who are really needful of my help. The good news: I am keeping you!" I was both dismayed & pleased. Pleased that I was to stay on his patient roster, but dismayed that my situation was bad enough to be kept on his patient roster. Rest in Peace, Dr. Friedman.

Nancy - I was so very sorry to learn of Dr. Friedman's passing. When he retired I knew it would be difficult, if not impossible, to find a more knowledgeable
and caring Dermatologist. I always enjoyed speaking with you (and Dr. F.) during my twice annual visits over a period of 25 or so years. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. With love, Steffi Gavin
