I worked for Mrs. Pershing in her home in L.V as her accounts Payable clerk. I enjoyed her company and it was very evident how much she loved her girls and granddaugter. I learned just recently that she passed and was sad to hear the news. She was a wonderful, generous person who will be missed. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

On behalf of the Pershing Rifles Foundation, we would like to express condolences to Sandra (Sandy) Pershing´s family and loved ones. Sandy was very supportive of General John J. Pershing´s legacy, including the Pershing Rifles, a national organization of ROTC cadets, which he founded in 1894 while serving as the instructor of military science at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Without her financial assistance, the documentary of the General´s life "Pershing´s Paths of Glory" would never have been produced. Although she was suffering from physical pain, Sandy attended the production of the film in France, as well as attending several Pershing Rifle functions. We are in her debt on many levels. She will be missed.
