FALLON--Thomas. Tom Fallon, age 69, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 after two years of courageously fighting hard to not leave his wife, son and granddaughter behind. Tom was born in New York, NY, to Thomas J. and Kathleen V. Fallon. Being a provider was important to Tom - whether it was family or work. He was a devoted, driven and proud man. All qualities that lead to a successful home and career - he had both in abundance. Tom was a history buff who enjoyed collecting, tidying up, fast cars, movies and being a Grandpa. Tom was extremely proud of his Irish and New York City roots and was quick witted with a clever and dry humor - the type of guy you wanted on your side when things went sideways. Tom was often seen as the tough guy - intimidating to most. But behind that hardened facade - he was a sweetheart. Before every Christmas, Tom used to drive a tractor trailer filled with presents to the less fortunate children living deep in the Appalachian Mountains during treacherous conditions. It was on his own time, unpaid and dangerous - but it was something about children not having presents to open on Christmas morning that didn't sit right with him. Tom was a lifelong truck driver and considered one of the country's best. You might think that's a hyperbole - but he participated in numerous competitions which he placed many times and won once. He was very proud to be a truck driver and Teamster - but he was most proud of his family. Tom is survived by his wife and life partner of 50 years, Bonnie; his son Tommy (Gabrielle); and his granddaughter Harper. He is also survived by his sisters Carol and Susan Fallon. Tom is predeceased by his parents Thomas J. and Kathleen V. Fallon; and his younger sister Kathy Fallon. A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 from 1-4pm, with a Memorial Service following at 4pm, at A.S. Cole Son & Co., 22 North Main St., Cranbury, NJ. A dinner at the Cranbury Inn will be held immediately following the memorial service, in celebration of life in Tom's honor on his 70th birthday.
