Kenneth Mowry Obituary

Pawtucket – Kenneth J. Mowry, 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Christine (Romeo) Mowry. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Everett and Erna (Hamilton) Mowry. Ken was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and was named Soldier of the Month for the 710th Ordinance Battalion, 40th Infantry Division at Ft. Riley, Kansas in November of 1954. He worked as the grocery manager for Star Market for over 40 years until his retirement several years ago. Ken leaves a son, Steven J. Mowry and his wife, Kim; a daughter, Diane M. Mowry and a grandson, Michael Elliott Mowry all of Pawtucket. Services and burial with Military Honors at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256 will be appreciated.
