Dorothy Jean Jones "Dot" Ogletree; Funeral service for Dorothy Ogletree, 82, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 135 Townsend Road, Auburn, AL 36830 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Chester Levett will officiate.
Ms. Ogletree, who passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Bethany House in Auburn, AL, was born February 4, 1940 in Macon County, AL.
Public viewing will be Friday, October 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).
Ms. Ogletree will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two children: Tony (Angela) Ogletree and Sandra (Otis, Sr.) Tyner both of Auburn, AL; one brother, Mark Jones of Auburn, AL; one sister, Christine (Rev. Elisha) Cloud of Tuskegee, AL; two sisters-in-law: Lillie Mae Sullins of Tuskegee, AL and Louise Jones of Auburn, AL; 11 grandchildren: Shambriea Ogletree, Kelvin Ogletree, Adriaunia Ogletree, KiAirra Welch (Nicholas Smith), Shantae Ogletree, Tony Ogletree, Jr., Christy Ogletree, Desiree' Tyner, Jordan Tyner, Reverend Otis Tyner, Jr. and Corniki (Chris) Philpot; a host great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
