James L. "Peewee" Willard Jr., 46, of Washington, died Monday, September 4, 2023, in his home.
He was born August 8, 1977, in Washington, a son of James and Barbara Willard of Washington.
Mr. Willard attended McGuffey High School.
He was a huge advocate for the recreational use of marijuana, on a daily basis. He loved to smoke his pot. He enjoyed spotting deer with his Pap, watching football, and listening to music.
James is survived by his daughter, Dedria M. Willard (Mike); a sister, Brandy L. Wright (Chris); grandchildren, Makenzie-Lynn Paige Roderick, Skyler Raine Roderick, and Braxten James Slider; best friends, John Levers, Billy Roderick, Brent Plants, Clark "Bou" Rudolph; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his fur buddy, Bosephus, whom he loved very much.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Earl and Mary Ann Wright; and paternal grandparents, Donald Wayne and Eloise Hope Willard.
Family and friends will gather from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m., the time of a service, Saturday, September 16, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, with Pastor Gary Whipkey officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
