John Pajer Obituary

John F. Pajer, 89, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, in his home in Peters Township. He was born May 29, 1936, in Hazelwood, to John N. Pajer and Hermina Francuz. He worked in the engineering department at Mesta Machine Company in Homestead, and Sutton Engineering in Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Dorothy McKnight. He is survived by their children, Diane Pajer, Patty Ann Campbell (Scott), Beth Gretz (Dr. Jeff Gretz), Amy Lasure (Jerry); their grandchildren, Kathryn Stabile, Sarah Pajer, Erica Smutney (Hayden), Julia Mikec (Chris), Joy Campbell, Alex Dahl (Aaron), Samantha Lasure; and great- grandchildren, Hazel Smutney and Avery Dahl. John is also survived by his present wife of 26 years, Patricia J. McTiernan; and her children, James Whalen, Jean Kitonis (Walt), Eileen Fecik (Paul), Noreen Murano (Calvin); her grandchildren, Jaclyn McNamara (Rick), Bethany Kitonis- Williams (Franklin), Paul Kitonis (Margot), Carly Irvine (Tom), Leah Fecik, Kaitlin Taylor (Donald), and Jack Murano; and great- grandchildren, Tiernan Williams, Rowan Williams, Connor McNamara, Claire McNamara, Coen McNamara, Lukas Kitonis, Lilly Taylor, Ellie Taylor, and Ben Irvine. All services are private, and arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray.
