Linda Filiatrault

1939 - 2024

Linda Filiatrault, 85, of Waynesburg, died on Thursday, October 17, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Linda was born on July 26, 1939, to Dorothea and Andrew Thistlewaite of Waynesburg. Linda was a graduate of Waynesburg High School. After relocating back to Waynesburg in 1979, Linda and her husband, Walt owned and operated Walt's Auto Clinic for many years. She later drove buses for Laid Law and First Student for several years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Carmichaels. For the entirety of Linda's life, her family was her purpose. Linda loved spending afternoons out on the river boating, traveling, and creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothea and Andrew Thistlewaite; her husband, Walt Filiatrault; her son, Mark Fox; and her grandson, Justin Fox. Surviving are those who are carrying on Linda's tenacious spirit: her son, John Fox (Lisa Hillsman); daughter, Leann (Derek) Frink; granddaughters: Erika (Matt) Wendling, Heather Thompson and Stephanie Fox; two grandsons, Andrew (Amy) Fox and Joshua (Lauren) Fox; great-granddaughter, Mia; and three great-grandsons: Peyton, Cameron, and Kieran. The Fox family wishes to convey their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the care and devotion of the staff of the Respi Center and OSPTA hospice for the passionate care Linda received during her time there. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Respi Center, 545 W. High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, at Behm Funeral Home, 182 W. High St., Waynesburg, PA 15370; interment to follow at Greene County Memorial Park in Waynesburg.
