Lynne M. Macfarlane, 50, of New Eagle, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, July 17, 2023.
Born on November 19, 1972, in New Eagle, She is the daughter of Terrie Bianchi Macfarlane of Uniontown and the late Thomas H. Macfarlane Jr.
A dedicated Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Pirates, Lynne enjoyed going on delivery routes along with her longtime companion, Ken. They were avid independent wrestling fans, traveling to over 500 shows around the Mon-Valley, Pittsburgh and West Virginia area.
She enjoyed going to various yard sales and flea markets, especially the Perryopolis Flea Market for the pepperoni rolls.
Lynne loved everything Disney, slushies and scratch offs from 7-Eleven, and decorating her house at Christmas time, which was her favorite holiday. She loved her family, and seeing her grandkids made her the happiest.
She is survived by her companion and soulmate of 26 years, Kenneth Burch of New Eagle, who will dearly miss watching their stand up comedy, comedy specials and podcasts together at night; they're son, Matthew Burch of New Eagle; daughter, Stephanie Macfarlane of New Eagle; stepdaughter, Brittany Burch (Jill Segraves) of Belle Vernon; stepson, Brandon (Tosch) Burch of Monongahela; five grandchildren: Bianca (who she enjoyed watching Encanto with over and over), Mya, Harper, Damon and Aurora; a brother, William Crawford; a sister, Robin Crawford; two uncles, Robert and James (Dawn) Macfarlane of Monongahela; cousins, Dawn and Courtney Macfarlane and Amy Sullivan; and nephews: John, Mike, Martin, Ben and Billy; and Ken's parents, Dave and Dolly Mellinger of Monongahela.
An avid animal lover, she leaves behind her dogs, Lonnie, Buck and King. She was preceded in death by her fur babies, Hines, Kane and Buster.
Friends will be received in the Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 11 a.m. to Noon, on Friday, July 21, 2023, at which time a service will begin with Pastor Ken Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
