Robert L. Humphreys Jr.

Robert L. Humphreys Jr., 76, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025. He was born February 24, 1949 in Grafton, W.Va., a son of the late Robert Sr. and Billie Humphreys. He was a loving father to Michele Humphreys, Lisa Humphreys, and Sara (Doug) Nafzgar; beloved brother to Madella (Tom) Humphries; grandfather to Teonna McClain, Brandon (Raven) Shuman, Ryan Markham, Cassidy (Angel) Sandoval, Daylen Nafzgar, and Evan Nafzgar; and great- grandfather to Kainan McClain and Laylah Strejcek. He is also survived by his caregiver, Carmen (Marissa) Tyler; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shelia Humphreys. Robert had a true zest for life. He loved drag racing, scuba diving, billiards, and traveling, always chasing the next adventure. A proud supporter of Pittsburgh sports, Bob was a die-hard Steelers and Pitt football fan. But his heart was always close to home with unwavering support for Washington High School football. He also cherished simple joys: a good meal out with friends or family, laughter shared over dinner, and the comfort of familiar faces and places. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, September 3, from 2 to 6 p.m., with a service at 5:30 in Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. All arrangements are entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
