Robert Leach Obituary

Robert Scott Leach, 52, of New Eagle, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 16, 2025, in his home. He was born October 27, 1972, in Waukesha, Wis., a son of Norman Dale and Elizabeth Lynne Yankovitch Leach of New Eagle. Robert was a 1991 graduate of Ringgold High School. For over 30 years, he owned and operated Master Plan Designer Builder Construction Company. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. Robert was very passionate about hunting. He hunted alligator, deer, bear, wild pigs and small game, to name a few. He was a nature enthusiast and loved being outdoors. One of his favorite things to do in nature was to forage mushrooms. He was licensed in the state of Florida for the recovery of nuisance animals. He once made the news in Florida for a nuisance panther that he recovered. He was also involved with another type of recovery through NA and AA, helping people through their own recovery. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Sunny Leach of Florida; two brothers, Thomas Edward (Brooke) Leach of Monongahela, Jason Clifford (Jennifer) Leach of Delaware; six nieces, Jocelyn, Charlee, Willow, Jillian, Piper and Winter Leach. Friends are invited to gather from 10 until 11 a.m., when a Celebration of Life will begin, Saturday, August 23, in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, with Pastor Lynne Leach officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Club Serenity, Inc., 702 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, PA 15022. I Send my deepest condolences to your family. I recently took this photo of Rob and I'm so glad I did. This man was the kindest, generous, loving, serene man I ever met. He was an inspiration not just to myself, but so many others. He will be missed deeply. He most definitely imprinted my soul! Thank you Rob!
