Betty Sue Reid, 81, of Splendora, Texas, passed away on Saturday,
May 13, 2017. She was born on Wednesday, December 18, 1935, in Italy, Texas, to Conrad Peacock and Susie (Muirhead) Peacock, both of whom have preceded her in death. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Shorty" Reid; daughter, Kathy Swarthout. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Janie Graham; son, Randy Reid and wife Brenda; brother, Kenneth Peacock and wife Patty; niece, Tanya LaBorde; nephew, Kenneth Peacock, II; grandchildren, Trelisa and fiance' Wayne, Jason Amburn, Daisy and husband Derrick, Josh and wife Mary, Jennifer and husband Scotty, Kansas Senn, Stephanie and husband Ryan, Shane and wife Melissa; great-grandchildren, Jerry, Wynter, Summer, Brandon, Kevin, Kelli, Shelli, Anthony, Peyton, Meygan, Michael, Cheyenne, Colby, Ethan, Haily, RaeLynn, Gavin, Emalyn, Jacob, Anthony, Logan, Brandie, Cheslie, Jordan, Kody, Cadie, Jacob, Collin, Allison; great-great-grandchild, Evelyn Jones; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Betty will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Sunday, May 21, 2017, from 3:00 pm. to 6:00 pm. Funeral services for Betty will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Monday, May 22, 2017, at 10:00 am. Interment for Betty will immediately follow at Splendora City Cemetery. Brother Kerry Baxley officiating.
