Billye Frerichs

1935 - 2021

Billye Frerichs, of Conroe, Texas, went to be with her Lord on June 27th, 2021. She was 86 years old, a devoted Christian, a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

Billye was born in Spring, Texas on May 11, 1935 to Leonard and Marie Roark and the family moved to the Conroe area in 1941.

Billye enjoyed spending time in her kitchen cooking down home meals and fabulous deserts for her family and friends. She loved watching sports with her two sons and was an avid bowler. Billye bowled for over 54 years with her sister, Betty, during which time they were members of various bowling leagues. Billye enjoyed being outdoors and hunting was one of the many things she loved. Many have said, "Billye was a crack shot and never missed". She also enjoyed her yard work where she was known to not leave one stick laying.

Billye was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Gene Frerichs; father, Leonard Roark; and mother, Marie (Fussell) Roark.

Billye is survived by her two sons, Mike Frerichs and Ricky Frerichs. She was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Tristan and Corey Frerichs, Jessica Woods and Brittany Weikel. She had 5 great-grandchildren, Tristan, Samantha and Gavin Woods and Beckett and Brody Frerichs; and two nephews, Keith Moore and Leonard Moore. Billye loved to spend time with her family, cooking, and being outdoors.

Services will be held Friday, July 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at McNutt Funeral Home, 1703 Porter Road, in Conroe, Texas, 77301. Burial will follow at Conroe Memorial Park.
