Carol Ann Elliott Daly, age 77, of Cleveland, TX passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her residence. Carol was born February 14, 1940 in Houston County, TX to parents, Robert M. Elliott and Elaine Bitner Elliott. Having such a lovely voice, she was a member of the Sweet Adelines in Houston, traveling and performing many places. Carol was also a longtime member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
Carol is survived by sons, Ricky Axton and wife, Kelly of Cleveland, TX, Gary Axton of Splendora, TX; grandchildren, Randy Axton of Rosharon, TX, Rachel Holstein and husband, Cody of Moss Hill, TX, Chanda Powell and husband, Randy of Seattle, Washington; great-grandchildren, Eli, Carson, Riley and Wyatt; sister, Janie Felix of Lansing, New York; sister-in-law, Carrie Elliott of Broaddus, TX; aunt, Edrie Sesler of Waller, TX; special caretaker and friend, Jean Harbour of Cleveland, TX, caretaker, Bonnie Howard of Cleveland. TX; numerous loved and cherished cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Elaine Elliott; brother, Wayne Elliott.
Funeral services for Carol Ann Elliott Daly will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Dr. Tim Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockland Cemetery in Houston County. Family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rockland Cemetery c/o George Crowson 3540 FM 231, Lovelady, Texas 75851. Online condolences may be made at www.callawayallee.com
