Dan Lehfeld Obituary
Dan was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on July 16, 1955, the son of Charles and Chrystal (Ebert) Lehfeld. He grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Dan attended Iowa State University, where he earned a bachelor of science in chemical engineering in 1977.
He married Debra Herron in 1978 and had two children, Lauren and Lindsay. After graduation, Dan went to work as Plant Engineer at Gulf/Warren Petroleum. He held several engineering jobs for Warren/Chevron in Houston and Tulsa, OK throughout his career. Dan stopped working in 1998 due to his longterm battle with multiple sclerosis. Despite his physical condition, he enjoyed following sports, reading, visiting with family and old friends and keeping up with the day's news.
Left to cherish Dan's memory are: daughter, Lauren (Brian) Baker; daughter, Lindsay (Luke) Robison; grandchildren Benjamin and Zachary Baker, Emmett and Adelaide Robison; brother, William; sister, Kristan (Steve) Santema; nephews Scott and Brett Santema; and many cousins.
Preceding Dan in death are his parents Charles and Chrystal Lehfeld.
