Daniel Mendoza Obituary

Daniel "Dosey" Mendoza passed away peacefully on March 13, 2021 at the age of 78 in Conroe, TX. Daniel was born on July 5, 1942 to David S Mendoza and Velia Luna Mendoza. Married to Dora Pena in 1965 where they had 3 sons, Dennis (55), Daron (51) and Daven (43) who all graduated from Pearland High School. He was a wonderful father, friend and coached many youth sports in the Pearland community. Daniel served in the United States Navy at the age of 17, for 3 years. He also played college basketball at San Jacinto Junior College. Daniel also retired from the United States Postal Service. He loved camping outdoors and loved being out in the country. One of his favorite pastimes was Country Western dancing.

Daniel was survived by 7 brothers and sisters. John L Mendoza, Robert L Mendoza, Carlos L Mendoza, Richard L Mendoza, David L. Mendoza, Lydia Mendoza Dearduff and Elizabeth Mendoza. Grandchildren, Adreanna N Mendoza, Jeremy P Mendoza, Chase Mendoza, Cameron Mendoza, Ciana Mendoza Kash Mendoza and numerous brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family members are more than welcome to join us for a Military Service April 30, 2021 @ 2:15 PM at the Veterans Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive followed by a CELEBRATION OF LIFE @ The Cadillac Bar and Grill, 1802 Shepherd Dr. Houston, Tx. from 3-5:30.

As we take this special moment to remember a great son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Know he is much happier where he is and wishing not tears to fall from your eyes, but to Celebrate his Life and love your family and friends!
