Gene Abner Allen, age 83 of Dayton, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018. He was born November 11, 1934 in Romayor, Texas to parents Cooper Lee and Ellen Eloise Allen who preceded him in death along with his wife, Nita Faye.
Survivors include his daughter, Robbie Bruce; sons, Larry Allen, Jimmy Allen, Glen Allen, Mike Allen, Clint Allen and James Allen; son-in-law, James Bruce; daughters-in-law, Lynn Allen, Martha Allen, Angela Allen and Christie Allen; sisters, Opal Abney and Bobbie Wilson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will take place at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel with interment to follow at Ryan Cemetery.
