John Miller Obituary

John Franklin Miller passed away July 5, 2015 in Houston, Texas. John was born July 1, 1932 near Center, Texas (Fulsom Chapel) to the late Buford and Iva Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents and only sister, Joyce Jones. John is survived by his wife Helen and three children: daughter, Vicki Darlene Flake and husband Tommy, daughter, Glenda Charlene McClellan and husband Phillip, son, John Franklin Miller, Jr. and wife Suzanne; six grandchildren: Thomas Flake, Jr. (Holly), Tammy Stewart (Kirk), Phillip McClellan, Jr., John F. Miller III, James McClellan (Jonquil), Johzanne Miller; ten Great-grandchildren: DeAnn Stewart, Trey Flake, Katelynn Stewart, Hannah Flake, Jacek McClellan, Ashby McClellan, John Stewart, Ramsey and Riley McClellan and Helen Stewart; 3 nieces: Kim Meinke, Karri Busbee (Paul), Kayla Compton (Eric); 4 Great-nieces: Meagan Robin (Brent), Malloree Busbee, Kaytee Compton, and Emberlee Compton; Great-great nephew, Joseph Ryan Robin, 3 sisters-in-law: Marie Byrd, Nelda Giles (Robert), Anita Hall; 3 brothers-in-law: James Pruitt (Dolores), Bland Pruitt (Joyce) and Danny Pruitt (Kay) and many more nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held at Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel on July 9, 2015 at 11:00 am with burial following at Brookside Memorial Park.

A special tribute to John Miller, "The Boss", will be held at Northwoods Pool Supply, 2103 North Houston Ave., Humble, TX 77338 on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Friends & Customers welcome!
