Judith Ann Atwood Custer

1944 - 2021

Judith "Jodee" Ann Atwood Custer (76) lived in Phoenix Arizona most of her life. was an accomplished silversmith, making beautiful silver and turquoise jewelry. She enjoyed riding horses and often rode in competitions such as cross country, dressage, western and english. She taught riding lessons and often constructed their riding attire. She served as President of the Arizona Pinto Association and editor of the Arizona Pinto Newsletter. In 2001, she moved to New Caney, Texas to be close to her sisters. She met and married George Custer. Proceeded in death by George Custer (husband), Harold Atwood (father), Betti Watson (mother), Shirley Shivel (sister), Jimi Charm Watson (sister), and Jim Watson (brother). Survivors include: Sharon Henson (sister), Kathy Jackson (step-daughter), Rich Gulley (step-son) along with grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held in Splendora, Texas in July. Jodee never met a stranger and was friends to many.
