Mrs. Marilyn Louise "Flossie" Walker (Temple) was born on Friday July 15, 1955 in Monroe, Louisiana to JW Temple and Clara Cobb. She was an outstanding warrior for God. She married Ronald Walker Sr. on Sunday September 11, 1977. After moving to Houston, Texas, the couple welcomed three children into their home and Marilyn set about teaching them the word of God. She was a generous individual who loved everyone that crossed her path and was passionate about friends and family. She was a dedicated member of the Women's Auxiliary of Aldine Fire Department. Marilyn and her husband Ron are also long time members of The First Assembly Of God Church in Humble.
Marilyn passed away peacefully in Memorial Hermann Hospital Katy on August 16, 2017 in Katy, Texas at the young age of 62. She is survived by her husband; Ron Walker Sr, daughter; Crystal Walker, sons; Ron Walker Jr & Robert Walker, brothers; Larry, Byron, Roger, Irvin, & James Craig "Jay" Temple, grandson; Dylan Walker, granddaughters; Bridgitte Naylor & Faith Fancher, daughter-in-law; Ashley Walker, Sister-in-laws; Jane & Lindy Temple, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She's preceded in rest by her grandparents; Green Irvin & Margaret "Flossie" Temple, her parents; JW & Clara Temple, her brothers; Keith, Terry, & Gary Temple, daughter-in-law; Sofia Walker. A funeral was held on August 21, 2017 at The First Assembly Of God Church in Humble and she will be buried at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Pastor Milton Pool will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marilyn's life. The family would like to thank the caregivers and hospital staff of Memorial Hermann and Spanish Meadows for their efforts, care, & dedication.
