Mary Baird Obituary

Mary Ruby Baird went to be with our Father on April 4, 2022 at her home in Conroe, Texas, at the age of 84. She was born on November 13, 1937 in Richton, MS to parents, Roosevelt and Rena Bell Walley. Mary was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 4816 in Porter, Texas and New Caney Chapter No.1093, Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: James Walley, Edgar Walley, Oscar Walley, Robert Walley, Charles W. Sambo Walley, and one sister, Frances Conway.

She is survived by her two sisters, Catherine Valentine and Joann Rosen and husband, Delton Baird; daughter, Lillian Chatthom; son, Delton "Bo" Baird and wife, Bridget Baird; two stepsons: Leslie Doyle Baird and Delton "Peanut" Baird and wife, Susan Baird; 7 grandchildren: Rebecca Baird, Michael Baird, Wendy Baird-Aguirre, Raynee Garcia, Brandon Baird, Kyle Baird, and Konway Baird; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 at McNutt Funeral Home located at 1703 Porter Road in Conroe, Texas with funeral service to follow on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:00 am with Reverend Scott Morris officiating.

Graveside will take place following Friday services in Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery located on the property of McNutt Funeral Home. Immediately following the graveside service, lunch will be served at Sam B Crawford, 20625 Lodge Road, New Caney, Texas 77357. All are welcome to attend.
