Richard George Janes, age 70 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015. He was born June 19, 1945 in Hendricks, Minnesota to parents Charley and Mildred Janes who preceded him in death along with his mother-in-law, Rita Lindsay; father-in-law, Guy Bates; sister, Marilyn Tomaszewski; "favorite sister-in-law", Linda Janes; and chosen son, Ben Weaver.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Janes; father-in-law, Raymond Lindsay; daughter, Margiena Mayfield and husband Bill; sons, Shawn Janes and wife Maria, Rodney Janes, Rick Janes and wife Jaime, Robbie Woods and wife Casey; sisters, Deloris Buchholtz and husband Harvey, and Helen Tomaszewski; brothers, Charles and wife Carol, Keith and wife Jan, Bob and wife Roxanne, David and Stephen Janes; grandchildren, Jared, Allison and Jacob Mayfield, Katy and Kendyl Janes, Justin Edwards, Bentley Woods, Joshua Janes, Chris and Ale Lucas; great-grandchild, Ryland Mayfield; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Center Grove Cemetery, Legett, Texas.
