Robert Voelker Obituary
Bob was born in Wilkes Barre, PA on May 26, 1947. He graduated from Dallas High School (PA) and continued on to receive a Business degree from Penn State University.
Bob and his wife, Shirley were married 51 years.
They first moved to Houston in 1970 for three years. After a few years of living in Georgia and North Carolina, the family moved to The Woodlands 44 years ago. He enjoyed golfing, a good meal and visiting national parks. He loved attending his children & grandchildren's sports and activities, but most of all just spending time with his family. He never missed a Penn State football game.
Bob was always up for telling his stories and loved to joke around. Anyone who knew him enjoyed his combination loud, jolly and gentle personality.
Bob is survived by his wife Shirley, his children, their spouses and eight grandchildren. Bowman Voelker, wife Tracy, Jack & Emmylou (Magnolia), Owen Voelker, wife Cheryl, Audrey, Timothy & Elizabeth (New York). Vanessa Houk, husband Ross, Miller, Vivian & Dillon (Colorado).
