Wendall Roy Oliver, 78, of Porter, Texas passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on July 5, 2016. He was born in Crockett, Texas on January 14, 1938 to Clarence and Margaret Johnson Oliver. This loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend will be missed.
In addition to his parents, Roy is preceded in death by an infant daughter; his son, Christopher Lee Oliver; siblings, Clarence "Ted" Oliver, Jr. and Billie Louise Dreadin; and grandson, James Hoyt Oliver.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Rita Alford Oliver; children, Shelia Ann Collins (James), David Roy Oliver (Rachael), Angie Faye Oliver (Gary Munoz), Bruce Allen Oliver (Misty Hilton), and Crystal Deanne Moody (Bubba); sisters, Norma Hebert (Will), Ruby Gail Foss (Curtiss), Margie Alexander, and Vicki Elaine Wood (Gary); sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, along with extended family and friends.
Services were held at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, Texas.

So sorry to hear of uncle Roy's passing. Our condolences to you Aunt Rita and family. Would like to have been able to visit with everyone but circumstances didn't permit. ( Ricki still recovering from knee surgery). We wish everyone well. God Bless.

Aunt Rita and family, Our hearts go out to each one of you during this time and always! I'm thankful to have been apart of Uncle Roy's life and to have known such a kind loving man.
