Edward MacWilliams Obituary
Fort McCoy - Edward John MacWilliams, 73, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was born, September 3, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He is preceded in death by his parents John E. MacWilliams and Grace (Kauffman) MacWilliams and his sister Virginia E. Platt.
Dr. E.J MacWilliams began his teaching and preaching ministry at the age of 13 in Philadelphia, then received formal training at Southeastern Bible College, Alabama Bible College, Tennessee Temple University and International Seminary. He received his Th.D in Theology & Counseling from the International Theological Seminary. He was an Author, Counsellor and Director of Outreach. He has been a faithful servant of Christ as a Pastor in Marion County, Florida since 1974.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Dorothy, his son Stephen MacWilliams and his wife Donna, Daughter's Rebecca (MacWilliams) Thibodeau and her husband Stephen, Kim Craig and her husband Daniel, Erica Fulk and her husband Chad. Grandchildren Alyssa Mancil and her husband Jake, Tessa Wright and her husband Kyle, Sarah MacWilliams, Jael Craig, Jared Craig, Jonathan Craig, Nathan Fulk, Austin Fulk and his wife Erin. One Great Grandson Jacen Mancil and another precious Great Grandchild on the way to Tessa & Kyle Wright. Brother David MacWilliams and his wife Debbie, Sister Donna Gillow and her Husband Larry and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held, Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m, at Solid Rock Bible Church located at 7570 SE 183rd Avenue Rd. Ocklawaha, Fl 32179. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Solid Rock Bible Church.
