MARGARET DUVALL Obituary

DUVALL, MARGARET ELIZABETH ALLEN
Ocala - Margaret Elizabeth Allen Duvall passed into eternal peace on June 2, 2017 in Ocala, FL. Born December 5, 1939 in Washington, D.C. and raised on the family farm in Cannondale, CT, she was fondly called 'Peg.'
A loving and devoted mother, aunt, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, she is survived by two brothers, Jon and Sam Allen, and their children, Cliff and Yvonne, and Anna and Micah; her first husband, Charles M. Staehle; and two children, Cynthia M. Moody and Mark A. Staehle and his wife, Carolina Cueva Schaumann Staehle; and two grandchildren, Adam Joseph and Emma Carolina.
Peg and her late, second husband, John Duvall of Croom, MD, moved to FL in 2002, residing in Inglis for over a decade. Prior to moving to FL, Peg and John served as volunteers with the Civil Air Patrol's Maryland Wing. Members of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Crystal River, where Mr. Duvall's parents Martha and Morris Heller had been members since the early 1980s, John and Peg were married at St. Anne's in January 1996. Peg was a devoted member of the order of Daughters of the King, and facilitated two support groups at St. Anne's: Recovery from Food Addiction and Emotions Anonymous.
She moved to Ocala in March 2016 to live nearby to her daughter, an Associate Professor at the College of Central FL, where she joined a Toastmasters club and the Marion-Alachua Dog Training Association, and volunteered with Stirrups and Strides Therapeutic Riding Center. An animal lover, Peg rode horses and raised dairy cows as a teen; studying Dairy Husbandry at Cornell University where she belonged to the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her love for God, and her family and friends will live on in all of our hearts. She is greatly missed.
Two memorial services will be held in her honor: Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's in Crystal River, FL; and, Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Christ the King Anglican Church in Ocala. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Anne's Episcopal Church Counseling Center in Crystal River, FL.

I look forward to seeing you again one day in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Yeshua- light of the world. You've joined the great fellowship of saints. To my dear friend and neighbor,
It's been over two months and it is still hard to believe you are not here across the street. I know you are still with us in spirit, though, and my thoughts are with you as I light this candle for you.
Love,
Lauren
