ODEEN ISHMAEL Obituary
Dr. Odeen Ishmael, 70, of Ocala, Florida passed away on January 5, 2019.
He was a good friend of the United States and served as Guyana's Ambassador to the USA, living in Washington DC during his tenure. He truly lived life to the fullest and had an uncanny ability in public speaking and in reaching people. He also enjoyed singing country music, playing the guitar, and playing cricket.
Odeen was the beloved husband of Evangeline; father of Safraz and Nadeeza; and father-in-law of Alexandra.
The funeral service will be held at the Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Ave, at 11AM on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Interment will immediately follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Myositis Association. Arrangements are under the care of Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Ave, Ocala, FL 34471 (352)537-8111.
