Robert Trammell Obituary
Summerfield - Robert D. Trammell, 77, died peacefully at home on July 19, 2007. He was a member of Shiloh Church of Belleview, retired Chief Boatswain's Mate from the Coast Guard, Korean and Vietnam War Veteran, and a member of the Legion and DAV. "Rob" was an avid fisherman, hunter, and NASCAR fan. He loved growing plane, feeding the world, and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth, 3 children Kathy (Craig) Chaffee, Rob (Georgia) Trammell, and Teri (John) Hoolihan, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Lelama Thacker and Francine Jeffers, and 4 brothers, Tom, Frank Joe and Floyd. A Celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday September 2, 2007, at Shiloh Church of Belleview, with a luncheon from Noon -2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Church of Belleview Food Pantry. Arrangements under the direction of HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES, BELLEVIEW.
