Dan, Kevin and Deger family –
Please accept my sincere sympathies and condolences at the passing of your father, Clarence. I have many memories of him from Wilbur Avenue—listening to his “commentary” while watching a ballgame and playing Euchre at the dining room table. He and your mother, Marie, was quite a pair and they are thought of by me more than you realize. I’ll remember him in my prayers and may the “Old Man” rest in peace.

Ron and Lisa,
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope this verse I wrote will ease your pain:
Father… as I drift away and peacefully depart
This restless soul and painful shell that held my aching heart
Fulfill me with Your glory and love beyond this earth
And bid that I come join You and share in Heaven’s worth
Embarking on this journey that once I feared to face
I realize that death is but a step toward Your embrace
And mercy and forgiveness await me at Your throne
Forgive me, please, my earthly sins as I now stand alone
I humbly ask You for one thing… a simple final prayer
Attend to those I left behind… give them Your loving care
Let not their tears be for my soul, for I am in Your grace
But let them know that I am first to know Your smiling face
No pain or sorrow will I know while I am at Your side
All suffering is left behind… You will not be denied
Grant them a life of hope and love to happily prepare
To meet with me again someday… this is my final prayer

My heartfelt sympathy to all. Wish I could be there with all of you. Uncle "Duck" is in GOOD HANDS now and if we all listen closely, I'm SURE we will hear our Loved ones shuffling the cards and keeping the faithfully departed up there in stitches and St. Peter will probably right there with them ... O M G who will be at the Pearly Gates THEN ????!!!
