Denise Sanders Obituary
Denise (Deany) peacefully ended her battle with cancer and headed to her heavenly home October 9, 2016, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Rittman, Ohio and spent most of her life in Akron. She was a member of Rittman Church of Christ and worked at Summit Federal Credit Union as a Loan Processor.
Denise devoted herself to her family and was a friend to everyone who ever met her. Her kindness, smile and joy was shared with all. She loved to go for walks, read and bake. Her great baked treats will be missed by all who shared them.
Denise is survived by husband, Kenneth Sanders; children, Joshua and Julianne Kane; parents, James W. Weaver and Emily (John) Mosconi; brother, James M. (Christina) Weaver and family. Also missing her is her extended Sanders, Weaver and Rager loved ones.
Thank you to all the family, friends, church families and Western Reserve, Summa & Kindred doctors, ER, ICU, Floor 3 nurses and chemo staff who provided support, care and comfort to Denise during this six month journey.
Visitation will be at Williard United Church of Christ, 742 Johnston Street, Akron, Ohio Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. followed by a luncheon. I only recently found that Deeny had passed away. Our time together at Swan Hardware was special because of her loving and giving spirit. The world became a little smaller without her here. My heart is with all concerned.

Denise was one of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever known. Anyone who knew her would agree that she was a ray of sunshine. She was a special person and friend and I will miss her. My deepest sympathy goes out to Kenny, her parents and her children. May your wonderful memories of her help you during your grieving. May God bless you.
