Ingrid Groot Obituary
Ingrid Jennifer Groot, born October 23, 1957, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in the company of her family.
Ingrid was born in Akron, Ohio where she spent most of her life, outside of a short time, near Atlanta, Georgia. She was a graduate of Mogadore High School's class of 1976 and was a state certified Pharmacy Technician. She enjoyed flowers, baking, crocheting, assisting the elderly, taking photographs, relaxing in the sunshine, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
Ingrid is survived by her mother and father, Dorothea and Anthonius Groot; as well as her brother, Gregory Groot; and sisters, Jessica Agee-Bradshaw, Monique Groot, and Desiree Barton. She will be dearly missed by seven nephews and two nieces as well as her cat, Ms. Boots.
A memorial service for close friends and family will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Northlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel located at 4724 State Road, Peninsula, OH 44264.

I am so saddened to hear about the loss of my friend and classmate from Mogadore. She was the kindest, sweetest person. I can still hear her laugh. My sympathies to her family who grew up on the same street as I did. I'm so sorry her life was cut so short. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

I was saddened to hear of Ingrid's sudden passing. It was a joy and privilege to work with and get to know her for many years at City Hospital. She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.

Ingrid and I have been close friends for more than 20 years. We shared our life with other sometimes venting and crying, other times laughing at each others jokes and silliness. At times we bandaged each others broken wings and encouraged each other to try again. Ingrid always opened every conversation with "Hi my friend" and I always replied "Hows it going Honey".
