Jack Deem Obituary
Jack L. Deem, 79, passed away November 24, 2018.
He was born June 10, 1939 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the son of the late Dale and Beulah Russell. Jack was fondly known as the "Mayor of Main Street". He will be remembered as a caring person who was always volunteering his time for area landmarks like Akron Children's Hospital, Akron Civic Theater, and the Soap Box Derby.
In addition to his parents, Jack is also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Deem. He is survived by his sisters, Sharon (Lester) Lowe and Jenny (David) Ritenour; as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday December 3, 2018 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street). Memorial contributions may be made to: Akron Children's Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186

Uncle Jack; I fondly remember you and your kindness. You always wanted everyone to be happy and laughing! I remember when you stayed with us and babysat us; you were a great friend, as well as a great Uncle. RIP and fly high with the angels!! Please tell Grandma and Grandpa, my Mom and Dad hello for me; tell them I will see them all again. Also give all my brothers and sisters a kiss from SuzyQ. WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE WHEN MY JESUS I SHALL SEE. WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY THAT WILL BE!!!

R.I.P. Uncle Jack I remember when volunteer at the Soap Box Derby , Akron Civic Theatre and came to the house clean clean and clean you always stayed busy. I will cherish the moments we had together. I will see again sometime. Love you Uncle Jack
