"Nick" Stevens

Nicholas Alexander 'Nick' Stevens, 39, of Akron, passed away August 16, 2018 in his home in Akron.

No Funeral services will be held. A celebration of Nick's life will be held at a later date.

Nicholas was born in Warrensville Heights to William G. Stevens and Janie (David Wolfe) on November 9, 1978. He was married to Megan K. Morgan on December 31, 2009 in Akron. Nicholas was a hard worker in the construction/remodeling field for many years. Along with being a dedicated grounds man for Extreme Tree out of Northfields, Nick was proud of his 4.5 years of sobriety. He fought his addiction daily. Nicholas passed 100% drug free.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his father, William G. Stevens; his stepmother, Teresa A. Stevens; Uncle Daniel L. Stevens; twin sister, Michelle and grandfather, Dana G. Shackelford Sr.

Many family and friends morn the loss of Nick and will forever hold him within their hearts. Memorial contributions can be made to I.B.H. Addiction Recovery Center, 3445 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44319.

Me and Nick were really good friends I've seen him through his good time and bad times as we traveled the country for at least 2 years if not longer I will miss my friend so much football is not the same anymore and a very hard worker !!! (R.I.P ) nick your friend Tom West I love you brother and I will never forget and I will see you again in heaven XOXO
