Aunt Sue was so special to many people. The last time I got to see her was when I was about 12 years old but she always stayed in touch with me. Over the years she sent countless letters and post cards to my sister and I. She even sent packages full of things for my sister and I. She knew that I loved nature, especially animals so whenever she saw something interesting or educational about animals in a magazine or newspaper she would cut it out and mail it to me. One time she even sent a package of seashells that she personally collected and labeled and even sent pages about each shell. My Great Aunt Sue was a sweet, kind, loving, and thoughtful person and was loved so much by so many, and she will be dearly missed.

Dear Richards family,
I am so sorry to hear of Sue's passing. She loved life and always seemed as a great adventurer. I remember her and Buck taking my daughter with them on several of their camping trips, but especially when Sue would go with our young girls to their concerts. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I remember Sue has a kind and loving person. She collected seashells and labeled them for our grandkids. She did a lot of work organizing them. She loved children.

I was about 4 when Carolyn was born, she was about 2 and did something that ticked Edna off. She was going to spank her and I climbed all over Edna. My sister was screaming for Mom to get me off her. The beginning of many fun times as kids. Rest in peace niece, you deserve it.
