Isn't it odd that we spend so many days, years working, or living or playing golf with someone and seem to know so little of them. Granted, a work relationship is not meant to be intimate, but it does secure the fragmented insights. I look at Bruce as my mentor in the sign business, as I was always intimidated by his skill, yet encouraged by his willingness to work with me or give me tips. He listened and respected my point of view. Bruce was a decisive man, therefor he always had a strong opinion, and we were almost always on opposite sides of a particular philosophy, but we met graciously and happily somewhere near the middle. Once we were discussing running and my inability to enjoy it after a few miles. He said, in his younger days, he would start jogging and soon get the feeling he could go on forever. I concur. He goes on forever in my memory and I share the sadness and celebration with you the family and friends of Bruce.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time of sorrow. Im an old childhood friend of Connie's whom I spent many nights at the Maxwell house when they lived in MWC. I remember fondly eating butter and herring sandwiches and Bruce well. So sorry for your loss.

Joan and I are very sorry for your loss. Bruce was a very prominent part of the sign community for many years and was admired by many. We will keep your family in our prayers.
