DEAR STACEY,
JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THOUGHTS OF YOU HAVE BEEN WITH ME FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS. I AM HOPING THAT YOU ARE ALLOWING YOURSELF TIME TO HEAL AND JUST LIKE WITH LANCE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO COPE WITH THIS TRAGEDY. I AM SURE THAT CAROLINE AND OLIVIA ARE OF COMFORT TO YOU AND AS WELL PROVIDE YOU A REASON FOR KEEPING ON. I LOVE YOU STACEY AND I FEEL SO HELPLESS LIKE OTHERS IN YOUR SUPPORT GROUP OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I WILL STAY IN TOUCH AND IF YOU EVER NEED ME, JUST REACH OUT.

My deepest sympathy to Stacy, Olivia, Caroline, Dick and Lucy, Chris, Kathleen and Russell, Michelle and Derek, McKenzie, Garret, Megan, Coco and Landon. I know how much you miss and loved David. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. The memorial service was very uplifting. The music was beautiful; the Eulogy written and read by Derek was outstanding. What a wonderful tribute to David and what a tribute to both of you (Dick and Lucy.) I learned so much more about David listening to the Eulogy. The Lord must have wanted someone very special because David was unique. May the Lord embrace you and give you strength.

It has been a long time since I last saw David - some family reuinion years ago. David always stood out in my mind as a super kid that would be successful in whatever he did. Hearing more recently about what he accomplished in his short life, and the type of person that he turned out to be, I am proud to have had him as a cousin. We are all so sorry for your loss.

I recently received the letter about Dr. King. I only visited his office a couple times but was happy to find such a great dentist. I really enjoyed discussing OU football with him at my appointments. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

I just got the note from your office today telling us of David's death. I was so shocked to hear that he is gone. I guess you just never expect someone young , healthy, and with so much going for them to leave so suddenly. He was truly a wonderful man. We talked often about golf and his love for OU football. Mostly he loved talking about his family. He was crazy about you Stacey and those little girls.He made going to the dentist such a pleasant experience.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of David. We went to PU together. I remember him as bright and funny. I also remember how much he LOVED golf. As a matter of fact, I think that is the only place I ever saw him - on the course or around the clubhouse. He was the one who already had his head on straight and I knew David would turn out to be great in whatever he would choose to accomplish. I know Taylor Randolph and Quantrell (Bubba) Colbert also join me in sending our love and sympathies. We will treasure the wonderful memories.

Stacey, when I saw you at the funeral, I couldn't come up with any words of condolence. This evening I finally found the words that I feel describe the impact Dave had on my life. Dave has made me appreciate every minute and every experience that I am blessed to have with my girls. I will miss his sarcastic humor and his ever-present smile. Even as I am writing this, I am seeing his smile, and although I am hurting, the memory of his smile makes me happy.

I am so sorry that I could not make it back to Oklahoma. Our prayers our with you, the girls, and the rest of the family. I would not be where I am today without David. Growing up, David's house was the center of the neighborhood. We did everything growing up like brothers. Our passion and competitiveness on the golf course, helped drive me towards my career as a PGA Golf Professional. Living in Oregon the last ten years, I have missed hanging out and golfing with Dave. I always tried to hook up for another game of golf and drinks whenever I would come home to visit family. I will miss our friendship so much.

Dr.King was our favorite family dentist. All 3 of my children cried when I told them. He was always so gentle with them. Stacey, I never met you, but Dr. King talked constantly about you and the girls. I know he loved being a father. We have all been in his office in the last few weeks. Our family will miss him. When we learned of the news, Jennifer and I were floored. I always enjoyed seeing David on the softball field or in the office. Going to the dentist was an enjoyable experience because David and Richard were always there with a smile. David will truly be missed. He was a good man and friend.
