JIM SPENCER Obituary

Feb 22, 1933 - April 5, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Jim D. Spencer, DDS, 80, went to be with our Lord April 5, 2013. He was born February 22, 1933, to Ellen "Janet" Manning Spencer and Mark L. Spencer. He was a graduate of Capitol Hill and OSU; he served in the Army before graduating from Baylor University's Dental School. He built a long-standing dental practice of 46 years, where his expressive sense of humor and positive attitude impacted and brightened the community and the lives of all who met or knew him. He loved family and friends; they were most important to him. He enjoyed nature, hunting, fishing and those that shared the experiences with him. He will be greatly missed by everyone! We love him so much. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father and brother, Jack Spencer. He leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Lucky Spencer; sister, Patricia Taylor; three children, Diana Tubbs (Curtis), Ryan Spencer, Sean Spencer (Shonda); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Special "Thank-You" to the Full Life Hospice team for their love, kindness and help toward Dad and our family. Family and friends are gathering to "celebrate" his life Sunday, April 28, 1-4 p.m. at the residence of 10300 Eastlake Drive, OKC, OK 73162.

I started working for Dr. Spencer when I was 16. My mother worked for him and I did an internship through my school. I learned so much from him and loved being in his office. My sympathy to his daughter, Dianna and family.
