I worked with Roger at Tinker for a short while in 1980. What I remember about him most, besides his being a solid gold human being, is that he was funny. I would ask him, "How are you, Roger?" And he'd say with his Oklahoma drawl, "Fantastic, but I'll get better!" He was one of a kind.
