Sandy Rader Obituary

Sandy Rader, 53 of Rogers, AR, died Saturday, March 29, 2003, at her home. She was born September 29, 1949, in Jefferson City, Missouri, to Samuel Douglas, Sr. and Loretta Dresel Douglas. Sandy graduated from Mt. St. Mary's High School in OKC in 1968. She moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1988 from OKC. Survivors include her husband of thirty-three years, Ken Rader of the home; a daughter, Tammy Rodgers of Rogers, AR; her mother, Loretta Littlefield of OKC; two brothers, Samuel Douglas, Jr. and James Douglas, both of OKC; a sister, Darlene Garland of OKC; and three grandchildren, Kyle, Gavin, and Holly Rodgers, all of Rogers. She was preceded in death by a son, Guy Rader, in 1992; and her father. Memorials may be made to the Guy Rader '92' Soccer Fund, c/o Rogers High School, 2300 South Dixieland, Rogers, AR 72758. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 5, 2003, in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ted Vratny officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
