I found out about this tragedy well after the fact, but the news didn't hurt any less. I hadn't seen nor spoken to Todd since high school, but since then I had always thought of him. He always had a smile on his face, and even on my worst days he could put a smile on mine.
Although this incident happened four years ago now, and I only found out about it this year, I'm still heartbroken. If anyone deserved to live a full, long, happy life, it was Todd Leonard. Of the many people I've known in my life, from all over the world, not many were kinder and happier than he. Although we were never close friends by any means, I feel my life is truly better for having known Todd. He was always an example of the cheerful kind of person whom I have strived to be.

My family and I first met Todd when he was working as a pharmacy tech at Albertsons/Homeland. I went to the Neighborhood Market this morning and saw the Memorial Table they have set up. Todd was such a delightful person. He had the most genuine smile and a wonderful heart that was always willing to help. I can't begin to fathom the depth of your loss. My heart hurts for you all. My family will cover yours in prayer as you endure this season of grief.
