ISCHUA - Christopher E. Herron, of Miller Hill Road, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Chris-topher was born May 4, 1981, and was the son of Scott Edward Herron and Emma M. Goen. He was formerly married to Aimee M. Puffer.

Chrisopher worked for Patch-N-Seal and later the Olean Times Herald before working for a tree service for over six years from 2009 to 2015. He also worked for Dish Network for three years. He was a extremely skilled mechanic and worked on cars and motorcycles. He was also skilled with his hands and worked on repairing homes and other construction projects.

Christopher loved motorcycles, dirt bikes and four-wheelers. He enjoyed listening to music but most of all he loved his children, his family and spending time with them.

Christopher is survived by his two children, Chris E. Herron Jr. and Lydia R. Herron, both of Machias; his parents, Scott Herron of Olean and Emma Bennett of Custer City, Pa.; a sister, Amie M. Ellis of Little Valley; nephews, Dustin and Dylan Herron; his paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Babb of Limestone; an uncle, Kevin Herron of Olean; three aunts, Cheryl (Ronald) Babb of Limestone, Darnyl (Brian) Brinkley of Bradford, Pa. and Monica Miller of Tomball, Texas; as well as many cousins.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday (June 5, 2025) at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean, at which time a memorial service will be held. The Rev. Ronald Isaman will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
