Marsha Glinsky Obituary

AYDEN, N.C. - Marsha Glinsky, 63, of Ayden, formerly of Salamanca, N.Y., died Monday (April 2, 2012) at her home.
Born on Dec. 10, 1948, in Salamanca, she was a daughter of the late Wiley and Marion Edmund Holt. On June 29, 1968, at the former St. Patrick's Church in Salamanca, she married Edward Glinsky, who survives.
She was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother in Greenville.
Surviving besides her husband are, a daughter, Shannon (Tim) Oakley of Ayden; three sons, Edward (Virginia) Glinsky of Gloucester Point, Va., U.S. Marine Corps Capt. John (Angela) Glinsky of Jacksonville, N.C., and James Glinsky of Gloucester, Va.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Strang, of Bolivar, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, David Holt, on June 7, 1996.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (April 6, 2012) at the funeral home with the Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish, officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca.
