When my husband, Kenneth and I lived in Omaha, we ate often at the Country Buffet on W.Center Street. Several people who ate there started joining and eating in what I called "The Group." Charlie's wife Elena was still living then. Folks at the Buffett would push tables together as our group became larger.
It was so nice to be with this large circle of friends. I can still see Charlie who seemed to really enjoy being there, as we enjoyed him. Through this we met his daughter, granddaughter and great grandchildren. We celebrated all birthdays and had a wonderful time.
My heartfelt sympathy to all of Charlie's family. You are in my prayers.
