Henry Craig Annis peacefully passed away on July 24th, 2024, at the age of 72.
Henry (Craig) was a proud graduate of the University of NebraskaOmaha. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work. For over 35 years, he labored as a machinist at the Kellogg Company in Omaha, NE. His claim to fame was having a part in Treme, a HBO series shot in New Orleans. He was very proud to have served his country as a Drill Sergeant in the U.S. Army, being honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant.
Craig is survived by his loving wife Janet Annis, daughter Jennifer of Rapid City, SD, son Franklin of Arlington, VA, as well as eight cherished grandchildren - Janae, Jacob, Jordyn, John, Oden, Annie, Maggie, and Rosie. He is also survived by his two sisters Mary of Pahrump, NV, and Eugena of Omaha, NE.
Services to honor and remember Craig will be held at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. A visitation will take place on Sunday July 28th, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday July 29th, 2024, with burial at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA.
In this difficult time, let us reflect on the remarkable life that Craig lived and the positive impact he had on all those around him. May his memory bring comfort and strength to those who knew and loved him.

I knew Craig for many years at Kim's Tae Kwon Do in Omaha, NE. Craig was a heck of a good guy and was always very social and helpful in teaching new students. He had a real quality of kindness to him. I always enjoyed Craig and he will be missed. Also, enjoyed what a nice family he had. He and his bride raised their 2 kids well. He had a couple of really polite, respectful kids who are a nice legacy to leave behind.
