Shortly after I graduated Immanuel Hospital was my first nursing job in Orthopedics. I made rounds with Dr. Scott-Miller. He could tell I was new and he was so kind. He quickly became my favorite Dr. In ortho. RIP Dr. Scott-Miller.

Notwithstanding Jim's long, productive medical career, commitment to Rotary, Dundee Church and so many other service groups, Jim was also an Army Veteran who loved his commitment to country throughout his life. Over the years, Jim would stop by and visit on his many long walks through our Memorial Park neighborhood. We are blessed to have been touch by his wit, caring and compassion. Honored to have known you Jim. Slow Salute...

I have known Jim for over 20 years, most recently through a social group that meets every two weeks. He faithfully attends meetings and is always cheerful and outgoing. He will be missed. He is incredibly "sharp" on current events. I have greatly enjoyed getting to know Jim. Recently, he requested his "name badge" read only "Jim Scott-Miller", rather than "Dr. James Scott-Miller". He felt the less formal "Jim" was more open and welcoming, especially to new members and acquaintances. He always had a smile and cheerful demeanor. Best wishes to his family. Please accept our condolences. John & Becky Sieler.

So many fond memories of both Jim and Jo Scott-Miller through church and public school activities. Will be eternally grateful to Dr. Scott-Miller for an after-hours emergency surgery to repair my daughter's broken foot (bicycle accident). Rest in peace, dear friend. --Arva

My condolences to the family. I had the privilege of working with him early in my career and will always be grateful for that opportunity.
