Dr John was an excellent cribbage player. Was my pleasure to play with him as my partner!

we lived across from John in Willow Wood for several years. He was always helping my kids with their science experiments. We would plow his driveway and he would leave us IPA beer on our doorstop. After we moved we still kept in touch and would get together once in a while. He had a great sense of humor and very quick wit. We ran into him at Parson's House a two or 3 weeks ago and he still had that quick wit. He will truly be missed. My sympathy to the family.

Dr John was a true cribbage competitor. It was my privilege to have enjoyed a game or two with him. May he rest in peace.
