Marilyn & family, Bob and I would like to send our sincere condolences. Dr O´Gara was a very kind, knowledgeable and excellent anesthesiologist. He was a great dental patient of mine as well. Somehow he would read his medical journals while getting his teeth cleaned but also made time to ask how I was and how Bob was doing as his medical colleague/partner for decades. I will remember his distinct voice and his smile with every encounter at our Annual Anesthesia Christmas Parties to his regular dental check ups. A true legend! Prayers for peace and comfort from our Lord during this difficult time.

Marilyn and family, Paul and I want to express our condolences to you and your family at the loss of Dr. O'Gara. I worked with Dr. O'Gara and Marilyn for many years at Methodist Hospital. He was a fantastic doctor (even helped me push patients back to their room in beds when I was pregnant!). A smarter, kinder, and gentler person you won't find in medicine! Marilyn, Paul remembers when both of you came to Reno (I was out of town) and he got to show you around. Paul has fond memories of both of you! Dr. O'Gara was a great man, had many friends, a wonderful wife, and an honorable life. God Bless him and you too Marilyn!

I had heard of Dr. Patrick O´Gara when my wife Mary and I moved back to Nebraska. I was told that he was a great anesthesiologist and a very caring individual. The one characteristic about the O´Garas is that we never get together. The O´Garas are a pioneering family in Northeast Nebraska. One of the characteristics of the family lies in our coat of arms, loyalty, fidelity. Dr. John is a prime example of loyalty, fidelity and service. When I worked for HDR, Inc. in Omaha I was named to the board of the Methodist Nursing College and Dr. Patrick was also on the board. We finally met! He was everything I was told and more. I am proud to be related to Dr. John Patrick O´Gara. My father was George L. O´Gara from Laurel, NE, the son of Bartholomew O´Gara II, who was the son of Bartholomew O´Gara who emigrated from Ireland and pioneered in Cedar County, NE. Dr. O´Gara lived a good life and served many people through his medical training and relationships. My sincere condolences to the family, but you have many good memories to sustain you.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Pat 0´Gara. Pat was a year ahead of me in medical school, and I talked to him almost daily while both living
in the Phi Rho Medical Fraternity. He was kind, knowledgeable, and a good
friend. May God give you strength during this difficult time.
